Lecture Series Posters

Using a public lecture of choice, design a visual identity for a set of posters to represent and promote a lecture series.

For these posters I looked towards the NYC Botanical gardens being featured for the lecture talks. All of the featured gardens were near or in bodies of water.

My design has the bodies of water but also has the letters legible. However, I reshaped and somewhat hid the letters. This was important to my design because the gardens had intricate, purposeful designs and hidden spaces. There is more than meets the eye with these different urban oases; I wanted to capture the essence of discovering nature in an urban setting.
